Short bio:
Márk was born in Budapest, Hungary in 1978. He earned his M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) in 2001. He specialized in telecommunication and mobile communication. From 1999 to 2001 he was a trainee at Ericsson Research in Budapest. During his work at Ericsson he was involved in activities that included Mobile IP protocol testbed implementation and the design of ad hoc network protocols for the Bluetooth short-range wireless technology. From 2001 to 2002 he was participating in the pre-doctoral school in communication systems at EPFL. Currently he is a research and teaching assistant in the group of Prof. Jean-Pierre Hubaux. His research interest includes cooperation and coexistence in wireless networks (for reference see Terminodes project).

Fields of interest: wireless networks, game theory, economics of security and privacy, network security.
